communications and networks

hye you alls...
did you know what is MODEM ??

                                            analog signals                                                  digital signals

to convert the digital signals to analog signals we need a modem.

MODEM is shorts words from modulator demodulator.

term:
modulation- - -  process of converting from digital to analog.
demodulation- - - process of converting from analog to digital.

   In IT modem
is a device that modulates an analog carrier signal to encode digital information, and also demodulates such a carrier signal to decode the transmitted information

types of modems

 telephone modem

 DSL modem

 cable modem
 wireless modem

Modem functions:

Best regards,

..::WiMax::..

Assalamualaikum and hi guys...
we meet again...

today, i want to share something to you about WiMax..
do you know what is WiMax is..?

WiMax is the new internet network in Malaysia and Asia...
i can sure that you will feel good when getting in WiMax area...

actually, WiMax stands for World Interoperability for Microwave Access..
its also known as 802.16 which is the latest communication protocols...

WiMAX Tower

WiMax towers is used to communicate by using radio waves will provide coverage as far as 30 miles...
if you are within range of WiMax, the signal of network will remain green
but, if you are outside from the coverage area, the signal will change into red...

do you still remember this controversy advertisement
"ANDA SUDAH POTONG...?"

it is a great introduction of the 4G network provider,
P1 WiMax Broadband Malaysia,
under the auspices of Green Packet..

P1 WiMax Malaysia and other WiMax providers could go further and consumers expect healthy competition among providers of Internet network in Malaysia..

Thank You for this information...

Best regards,

u need to know this type of area network.!

hye u oollss...
today i would like to share
the several type of network area...
do u know that
One way to categorize the different types of computer network designs is by their scope or scale.
For historical reasons, the networking industry refers to nearly every type of design as some kind of area network.
okey lets we see...
the common examples of area network types are:
  • LAN - Local Area Network
  • WLAN - Wireless Local Area Network
  • WAN - Wide Area Network
  • MAN - Metropolitan Area Network
  • SAN - Storage Area Network, System Area Network, Server Area Network, or sometimes Small Area Network
  • CAN - Campus Area Network, Controller Area Network, or sometimes Cluster Area Network
  • PAN - Personal Area Network
  • DAN - Desk Area Network
generally LAN and WAN were the original categories of area networks,
while the others have gradually emerged over many years of technology evolution.
the additional info that u need to know is that these network types are a separate concept from network topologies such as bus, ring and star.

hope from this post, u will increase your knowledge about the short form of the type network area
see u later guys...
Best regards,

Bluetooth vs. Infrared

hehehe...
hye again to you alls....
today is very interesting day for you guys...
we re actually going to talk about...
the difference of both connecting devices....

Bluetooth vs. Infrared

as you can see....
actually  Infrared technology is what most TV remotes use........
it is invented to solve this kind of problem....
being WEIRD like this picture below.....

 hehehe....
ermmm......
The distance an infrared signal can travel varies based on the strength of the remote.......
,but is usually less than 50 feet for household electronics.......
In order for an infrared signal to be detected.......
there must be a direct line of sight ........
between the transmitter (remote) and the receiver (TV).........
If there is a wall or large object between them........
the signal will not pass through it.......
for example like this situation......

 hehehe....
this nothing  to do with those who still alive or dead....
ok Bluetooth, on the other hand......
usually  uses a radio frequency......
which allows transmission through walls and other objects........

 it will be ackward....
if nowdays mobile phone...
dont have the bluetooth device....
you are make yourself look funny.....

but still people are using the phone without it...
nevermind lets focus back on the topic...
on the bluetooth....
The standard range of a Class 3 Bluetooth device is about 30 ft......
which makes it ideal for syncing PDAs with computers.......
also using wireless cell phone headsets.........
and enabling handsfree cell phone use inside Bluetooth-enabled automobiles......
it is because Bluetooth technology is based on a standard 2.4 GHz frequenc......
different Bluetooth devices can typically communicate with each other........
 regardless of the manufacturer........

Most infrared devices only work with proprietary equipment.......
while Bluetooth is well on its way to replacing infrared.......
 in many different areas........
the technology is not meant to be used for wireless networking......
 Instead, Wi-Fi technology........
which has a larger range and higher bandwidth than Bluetooth........
is the standard that most wireless networking equipment uses......

alright that all from us...
hope see you again...
smile always.....(^-^)

~firewalls~

hey!! how are you now?
okey rite??
now...
i want to share with you
about walls

you know about FIREWALLS??
firewalls
helped
protect computers in large companies for years

4G!!!

haii... u guys...
i want to share something today....
do u ever know? or ever heard about the 4G?
4G stand for Fourth-Generation Communication System.
A 4G system can provide a comprehensive IP solution where voice, data and streamed multimedia can be provided to users on an "Anytime, Anywhere" basis. The data transfer rates are also much higher than previous generations

and i belives that u oll familiar with 3G right?
so now...
better we move to the latest technology...
that is 4G...
now we looking at their differeces okey...
1. 3G stands for 3rd generation while 4G stands for 4th generation
2. 3G technologies are in widespread use while 4G compliant technologies are still in the horizon
3. 4G speeds are  much faster compared to 3G
4. 3G is a mix of circuit and packet switching network while 4G is only a packet switching network

so from now on...try to use 4G okey?

NET???

hi alls!!
meet you here again..
(big smile for you!!)
wokey...come..
i want to share with you about

....net...
did you know what is it mean??
used as an abbreviation of Internet and Intranet
as Internets and Intranets
share a lot of similar attributes

INTERNET
This is the world-wide network of computers
accessible to anyone
who knows their Internet Protocol (IP) address

INTRANET
network that is not available to the world outside of the Intranet
internal private computer network or connection of
one or more computer networks,
whose use and access is restricted to an organization and its employees

EXTRANET
Intranet that is partially accessible to authorised outsiders
private network that uses
Internet technology and the public telecommunication system
to securely share part of a business's information or operations with
suppliers, vendors, partners, customers, or other businesses

allow two or more people to contanct each other via direct, live communication.

SOCIAL NETWORKING
one of the fastest growing uses of the iternet in social networking, or connecting individuals to one another, three basic categories of social networking sites are reuniting,friend-of-friend and common interest.

BLOGS AND WIKIS
in addition social networking sites, there are others types of sites that help ordinary people communicate across the WEB.
many individual create personal Web sites, cslled Web logs or blog, blog postings are timestamped and arrange with the newest item first. Often this readers of these site are allowed to comment. sOMe blog like:
